Man sells birthday whisky collection to buy first home

Many parents want to help their children get on the property ladder, but as this gets increasingly more difficult, one father found a unique way to help his son.

Peter Robson gave his son, Matthew, 18 year-old whisky every year for his birthday, the BBC reported.

Born in 1992, the 28 year-old now has 28 bottles of Macallan single malt. The total collection has been valued at over £40,000 and Matthew plans to use the money for a house deposit.
