Mirabaud's UK boss on how the pandemic has shaped the firm's work habits

Two-hundred-year-old wealth manager Mirabaud plans to permanently alter the way its staff work, with teams having the option to work from home part-time from next year “virus or no virus”, partner Etienne d’Arenberg says.

Mr d’Arenberg, who heads the UK wealth management market for Mirabaud, told thewealthnet this week that the working-from-home experiment imposed by the coronavirus had been a success for his firm, with a staff survey showing 90 percent were happy with the infrastructure offered. The firm provided counselling and other support for those who found the pandemic period difficult.
