Wealth management firm Quilter is being considered for acquisition by NatWest, according to media reports.

City sources told This Is Money that any potential deal is in the very early stages, and that private equity firms CVC, Bain Capital and BC Partners had also shown interest putting in a bid for the firm.

Quitler, which is currently valued at £1.4 billion, has £111.8 billion under management.
