Netwealth raises £5 million from high-profile tech investor

Businessman and former Conservative Party donor Michael Spencer has invested £5 million in challenger wealth firm Netwealth, as part of its £10 million funding round announced today.

Netwealth, founded by former Goldman Sachs banker Charlotte Ransom and former JP Morgan MD Tom Salter, focuses on retaining the most important aspects of traditional wealth management, including an investment committee and access to bespoke advice, while driving fee savings through automating some of its processes.
