New robo accused of misleading over fees

The UK’s newest robo-advice platform is off to a bumpy start as one of the country’s largest newspapers accused it of misleading customers over its fees.

InvestEngine, which launched on 12 May, was the subject of an article in The Sunday Times yesterday (19 May), where the newspaper claimed it had been told by the firm’s founders, Gumtree founder Simon Crookall and his sister Joanna, that the platform’s fees were the lowest on the market.
