More than half (52 percent) of UK high net worth individuals (HNWIs) have been victims of crime in the last 12 months, according to research by specialist insurer Ecclesiastical.
On average, these crimes have cost them more than £72,000.
The majority - 60 percent - are more concerned about crime now due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Of those who have experienced a crime in the past 12 months, almost half suffered a theft (49 percent).
