Pictet raids Julius Baer for LatAm team

Pictet's private bank has hired a 10 person team in Zurich to target the Latin America region, six of whom join from Julius Baer.

The new team, which is led by ex-Julius Baer banker Marc Braendlin, began operating at the beginning of this month.

Mr Braendlin, who reports to Alberto Valenzuela, global head of Latin America, joined Pictet in March.

A team of six private bankers have followed him from Julius Baer, while four others have joined from elsewhere.
