Private bank founder returns as chairman

Scottish private bank Hampden & Co has announced that one of its founders, Simon Miller, is returning as chairman.

Mr Miller helped found Hampden & Co under its original name, Scoban, in 2010 before it rebranded to Hampden & Co in 2014, launching the following year.

Mr Miller has been the chairman of Brewin Dolphin since 2013, and is also a non-executive chairman at Blackrock North American Income and a senior independent director at media firm STV Group.
