Asset Risk Consultants (ARC) has published its Private Client Indices (PCI) estimates for May 2022. Market volatility continued in the month, although losses did narrow when compared with April’s data.
Portfolios in the most cautious band (risk relative to equities of 0 to 40 percent) posted average losses of 0.2 percent in May, significantly lower than the 1.8 percent lost on average in April. These portfolios have lost a total of 4.5 percent this year.
