Private wealth professionals unfazed by fintech disruptors

Over half (54 percent) of private wealth management professionals believe that supposedly disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and robotics will have a positive impact on their business.

According to research conducted by Intertrust, rather than accelerating towards technology the private wealth industry is taking a more measured approach, and only 17 percent say they are currently using these technologies. Only 23 percent of private wealth professionals think fintech disruptors represent an existential risk to their business.
