Profits up at Brooks Macdonald as firm returns to positive net flows

Brooks Macdonald increased its underlying pre-tax profits by 25.7 percent in the six months to 31 December 2021.

Pre-tax profits increased from £14 million to £17.6 million in H1 2022.

However, statutory pre-tax profits fell 6.4 percent from £14.1 million to £13.2 million.

The firm said this decrease was due to an “exceptional gain” in H1 FY21 related to the Lloyds Channel Islands acquisition.
