Profits fall at EFG, new chair announced

Swiss wealth manager EFG International’s pre-tax profits fell 10.4 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2022.

Pre-tax profits fell from CHF 132.9 million at 30 June 2021 to CHF 119.1 million this year.

However, the firm said underlying net profits rose by 40 percent year-on-year to a record CHF 115.0 million.
