Quids in for directors as Woodford Investment Management heads towards oblivion?

The decision of Link Fund Solutions - the authorised corporate director of the LF Woodford Equity Income Fund (WEIF) - to wind-up the troubled £3.03 billion open-ended fund, must surely herald the demise of Oxford-based Woodford Investment Management.

For Woodford Investment Management (WIM) will effectively have no fee-earning funds to manage.

It still has a mandate to manage the investment portfolio of the Woodford Patient Capital Trust plc (WPCT), a London-listed closed-ended investment company with a market capitalisation of £252.86 million at 14 October 2019.
