Bambos Hambi has joined Quilter Investors as both chief executive and chief investment officer of the multi-asset investment business.

Mr Hambi brings 30 years’ experience in fund selection, joining from Aberdeen Standard Investments where he was head of multi-manager strategies and led one of largest fund selection teams in the UK.

Prior to this he held various multi-manager roles at other firms, and during the early part of his career he spent a decade at Quilter.

Mr Hambi replaces chief executive and head of investments Paul Simpson, who is retiring in 2021.
