Quilter has appointed a new chair and has named a non-executive director and chair of the board risk committee.

Glyn Barker will become chair of Quilter on 7 September 2022. Ruth Markland will continue as chair in the mean-time.

To take on the role, Mr Barker will step down as chair and a non-executive director of Berkeley Group.
