Rathbones hires new COO from Aberdeen Standard Capital

Rathbones has hired its new chief operating officer from Aberdeen Standard Capital, as Andrew Butcher announces his retirement, thewealthnet can exclusively reveal.

Mr Butcher, who has been chief operating officer (COO) at Rathbones since 2011, will leave the business in the second quarter of 2020.

He will be succeeded by Andy Brodie, who joins from Aberdeen Standard Capital (ASC), where he also holds the COO role. ASC is the private client discretionary investment subsidiary of Standard Life Investments.
