News Team, 25/04/2023

For the past two decades, PAM Insight, thewealthnet's publisher, has been the media sponsors for one of London’s leading wealth management networking charity events.

The 35th Gull’s Egg Luncheon will return to Merchant Taylors’ Hall on 16 May 2023.

For the eighth year running, this signature event is being held in support of Cure Parkinson’s, a charity dedicated to funding urgently needed research into a cure for Parkinson’s.

We are proud to be supporting the event again, but quite simply we need to raise more money from across our community.

Guests will enjoy a standing luncheon in the impressive Merchant Taylors’ Hall, whilst networking with colleagues and representatives from across the wealth management and advisory professions, as well as the broader City community. A buffet lunch with fine wine will be served and a raffle held with many great items to be won.

Last year’s event raised over £90,000 for Cure Parkinson’s.

Rupert Phelps, chairman of the Luncheon Committee, said: "We have three simple aims: to raise funds for a sadly necessary charity, create useful business connections and have a whole heap of fun in the process."

Cure Parkinson’s funds innovative research around the world which is dedicated to finding new treatments that can slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s.

Earlier this year, the charity made a major breakthrough in its mission to cure the disease.
