Retirees underserved by wealth managers - research

Global financial wealth reached an all-time high of $250 trillion in 2020, according to a new report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

The report - Global Wealth 2021: When Clients Take the Lead - found despite the pandemic’s enduring financial impact, global prosperity and wealth grew significantly throughout the crisis. This is likely to keep expanding over the next five years.

Retirees - one of the world’s fastest-growing demographics - are largely underserved and adversely impacted by the ‘advisory gap’ that prevails during the retirement phase of life.
