Sarasin & Partners experiences a torrid year with revenues, profits and AUM all falling

Sarasin & Partners LLP, the UK arm of Bank Safra Sarasin experienced a torrid 2018 according to its latest annual report and accounts. Revenues, profits and assets under management all fell.

Revenues for the year to 31 December 2018 came in at £56.91 million, 8.09 percent lower than the £61.92 million reported for the previous year.

Although “other income” remained more or less unchanged at £6.30 million and administrative expenses fell slightly from £37.00 million to £36.65 million, a £335,000 or 0.96 percent reduction, operating profits and profits before members income entitlement and profits allocation...
