Spot the connection: Jeffrey Epstein, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank

Private bankers and wealth managers generally assume the public profile of a hologram.

This certainly wasn’t the case with the late Jeffrey Epstein who was found dead in his prison cell in New York on 10 August.

Because of his notoriety and the people he associated with Mr Epstein attracted the attention of a number of publications, not least The Miami Herald, The New York Times (NYT) and The Wall Street Journal (WSG).

And thanks to their investigative journalism we have a better idea of the way in which private bankers and wealth managers operate.
