Standard Chartered has appointed Dr John Murton CMG as a senior sustainability adviser.

In this role, Dr Murton works within its chief sustainability officer team.

He is responsible for helping execute Standard Chartered’s sustainability strategy, including advancing its just energy transition partnerships (JETPs) and supporting the energy transition and early coal decommissioning in developing markets.
