International multi family office Stonehage Fleming has appointed Johan van Niekerk to the newly created position of head of family office (US).

Based in Philadelphia, he will report to Peter Rosenberg, head of North America.

Mr van Niekerk joined Stonehage Fleming in 2007 and was most recently a partner and head of family office (Neuchatel, Switzerland).
