Multi-family office Stonehage Fleming has appointed Bev Stewart as a director in the Jersey family office division.

Ms Stewart joins from Absa Bank in South Africa, which was formerly part of Barclays. There, she was a director in the investment banking global finance team, joining in 2011. She led a team of bankers and was part of the senior management team responsible for a £4 billion loan book, as well as new business origination.

Her 16 years’ experience also includes training as an accountant at PwC in South Africa, later moving to the firm’s New York office. She returned to South Africa to join Bravura, a bou...
