Over half of high-net-worth-individuals (HNWIs) have been the victim of a financial scam, according to research from Saltus Wealth.
The study, which surveyed attitudes of over 1,000 people in the UK with investable assets of over £250,000, found 53 percent of respondents said they had been scammed – with 36 percent loosing money.
The numbers represent a 10 percent increase from six months ago, suggesting financial crime may be on the rise.
