Rising demand for jobs requiring green talent and skills has outstripped the supply of candidates with relevant skills, research by PwC UK, carried out in partnership with the Financial Services Skills Commission and Aldersgate Group, has found.
The study found that graduates will not fill this gap, with 16,700 green job vacancies in 2023 and only 900 graduates with the sustainability skills that fit the vacancies.
