Regulation, business growth and technology were private asset management chief executives’ key areas of focus and concern for 2019.

The PIMFA 2019 CEO Sentiment Survey, revealed that 67 percent of respondents cited regulation as a key area of focus, with 50 percent of those explicitly citing MIFID II.

PIMFA (the Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association) is a a trade body for the private wealth industry.

Business growth came in second, with 53 percent citing this, perhaps demonstrating chief executives’ desire to “get back to managing business”, the researchers said.
