A new survey shows a chunk of UK investors cut back spending and piled money into their portfolios in 2020, while another large cohort struggled and had to raid their savings pots.
The poll of 2,000 people who hold financial investments found 39 percent “dramatically” reduced spending in order to increase savings and investments. The research was conducted by Censuswide in December on behalf of brokerage firm ITI Capital.
