Swiss canton to allow residents to settle tax bills with Bitcoin

The Swiss canton of Zug will soon allow taxpayers to use cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ether when paying tax bills.

The canton’s finance director, Heinz Tännler, said: “As the home of the Crypto Valley, it is important to us to further promote and simplify the use of crypto currencies in everyday life.”
