Tenet buys 13th financial advice firm

Tenet Group has bought its 13th wealth management practice since the beginning of 2018, acquiring Preston-based firm Derbyshire Booth.

Tenet made the acquisition via its subsidiary financial advice company Aspire Financial Management. Derbyshire Booth, which has assets under management of £26 million, will continue to trade under its own brand name.

Tenet, which is primarily a network of affiliated firms and advisers, offers its network member firms an exit strategy for retirement, partly explaining the large number of acquisitions it has undertaken.
