Foreign buyers are acquiring London property in large numbers, as they look to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday and avoid the two percent surcharge they will face from April 2021.
Research by high net worth mortgage broker, Enness Global, found foreign buyers could save £23,540 in stamp duty by buying now compared with after April next year.
In London’s prime property market, the saving increases to £38,808, based on the median sold price this year.
