The need to address socio-economic diversity in the private wealth sector

Some private wealth firms have introduced initiatives to enhance social-economic diversity, but the debate of whether enough is being done still remains.

According to the City of London’s socio-economic diversity taskforce’s latest report, 21 percent of those in a senior position in UK financial and professional services were from a working class background and 64 percent were from professional backgrounds.
