No-fault divorce has finally become law. Lawyers have been eagerly awaiting the implementation of the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act which received Royal Assent in June 2020. 

It is the most significant change in divorce law in a generation. Almost two years on, and one pandemic later, 6 April 2022 will be known as the day that the divorce “blame game” finally ended.
