The jury is still out about whether or not the 2018 Bordeaux En Primeur will take-off. And with comparatively few of the producers whose wine is considered to be of investible quality yet to release prices it will be so for a number of weeks.
Based on those chateaux that have released this information it looks as if prices will be 10 percent to 15 percent higher than the 2017s but around 5 percent lower than the 2016s, another excellent vintage.
According to a member survey conducted by Liv-Ex, the London-based international wine exchange, Lafite Rothschild heads the list of top wines of the vintage.
