UBS has begun using blockchain technology to settle select transactions, joining platform we.trade this month.

According to a report by digital currency news site Coindesk, UBS was now using the platform to facilitate services to small and medium sized clients.

“We’re reaching out to clients on a one-to-one basis to educate them on the new platform and walk them through the process,” a spokesperson reportedly told the site.
