UBS’s head of sustainable investing, Huw van Steenis, has been asked to join the investment committee in charge of the University of Oxford’s investments.
Mr van Steenis, a former adviser to ex-Bank of England governor Mark Carney, joined UBS in 2019 to chair its new body focused on sustainable finance. He is also an adviser to the chief executive, and co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s global future council on responsive financial systems.
