UBS sustainability head appointed to Oxford Uni committee

UBS’s head of sustainable investing, Huw van Steenis, has been asked to join the investment committee in charge of the University of Oxford’s investments.

Mr van Steenis, a former adviser to ex-Bank of England governor Mark Carney, joined UBS in 2019 to chair its new body focused on sustainable finance. He is also an adviser to the chief executive, and co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s global future council on responsive financial systems.
