The UK economy shrank by a record 9.9 percent in 2020, the biggest contraction on record, though the fourth-quarter rebound was marginally better than expected.
UK GDP in the three months to 31 December 2020 is estimated to have grown by 1 percent – double expectations – following revised 16.1 percent growth in Q3.
