UK’s newest private bank goes digital

Edinburgh-based Hampden & Co, the UK’s newest private bank, has launched a new digital banking service, including a mobile banking app that allows its clients to send messages and attachments directly to their private banker. 

“Many banks struggle to maintain a balance between technology and personal service,” said Graeme Hartop, its chief executive. “Our aim with the new digital banking service is to enable another channel between banker and client, while providing the client with more information and capabilities to help manage their finances.
