The confidence of US companies operating in the UK in Britain’s business environment has dropped, according to a survey from trade association BritishAmerican Business and consultancy Bain & Company.

On the index's one to 10 scale, the average business confidence rating for the UK dropped by almost a full point, from 7.3 in 2022 to 6.5 for 2023.
