VC and start-up investments could plummet if government withdraws tax incentives - research

New research from Wealth Club, a Bristol-based private equity investments platform, suggests that changes to the UK’s venture capital trust (VCT), enterprise investment scheme (EIS) and seed enterprise investment scheme (SEIS) could prejudice funding to growing sectors of the economy as well as removing valuable tax reliefs.

According to Alex Davies, Wealth Club’s founder and chief executive, VCTs, EISs and SEISs will disappear on 6 April 2025 unless the relevant legislation is renewed ...
