Swiss wealth manager Vontobel has hired a veteran banker out of Credit Suisse to head its wealth arm in Ticino.

Stefano Sala has worked for Credit Suisse for the past 14 years, and most recently lead the Southern Europe wealth planning team, based out of Lugano.

Mr Sala has a Master’s degree in business administration and international tax law, giving him in-depth succession and estate planning knowledge across multiple jurisdictions, Vontobel said in a statement.
