Walker Crips appoints two to C-Suite

Walker Crips has made two C-Suite appointments, hiring a new chief investment officer out of rival Seven Investment Management (7IM).

Christopher Darbyshire, former CIO at 7IM, takes the same title at Walker Crips Investment Management (WCIM). He formerly held senior positions at Societe Generale, Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas.

Walker Crips Group also appointed a new head of its investment management division – Nick Hansen – who has worked for the firm since 2007.

Mr Hansen initially joined WCIM as head of structured products, and was appointed executive director to the WCIM board in 2010.
