Waverton Investment Management has appointed Michael Allen as chief operating officer (COO).

He replaces Mark Harrison, who has been COO since 2016 and has worked in a consultancy capacity for the past year.

In this role Mr Allen will be responsible for the firm’s business operations strategy and policy as well as overseeing its operations teams.
