Waverton Investment Management has appointed Roger Haxton as a director and portfolio manager, based in Glasgow.

Mr Haxton has joined from Evelyn Partners where he was a partner for 18 years, also based in Glasgow.

In his new role, he will work with UK-based families, focusing on individual savings accounts, self-invested personal pensions, trusts and corporate accounts.
