Fintech business Iress has bought O&M Sytems, which provides pension and investment data and comparison tools to financial advisers.

Established in 1992, O&M has over 2,000 clients.

Iress said in a press statement that the acquisition would strengthen its advice offering in the UK. The new technology would be immediately available to Iress clients.

Phil Quin-Conroy, MD at Iress UK said all members of the O&M team would join the combined business.

Iress has more than 500,000 users from 9000 investment managers, traders, brokers, lenders and advice businesses around the world.
