WH Ireland makes key hires amid restructure

WH Ireland has made two new hires as part of an ongoing restructure at the beleaguered wealth manager.

Tony Hanlon joins as strategic business support analyst from HSBC. Mr Hanlon previously worked with WH Ireland’s wealth management head Stephen Ford at Brewin Dolphin where he launched the Brewin Portfolio Service, one of the UK’s first robo-advice offerings.

Mr Ford, Brewin Dolphin’s former “Mr Fix It”, was brought in in February 2019 to help reverse the fortunes of the 200-year-old wealth manager, which has issued a string of profit warnings over the past year.
