What attracts investors to debt investment?

A recent report published by Preqin estimated that the global value of alternative asset classes is projected to reach $14 trillion by 2023.

This is indicative of a long-term trend in the financial markets whereby investors are neglecting low-risk, low-yield classes of bonds and stocks.

Here in the UK, we are seeing investors diversifying their portfolios through a combination of traditional assets such as real estate alongside alternative investment classes.
