Women 'over exposed' to lower returning savings products

The gender gap between the number of men and women holding cash ISAs has failed to narrow over the last five years, according to Bowmore Wealth Group.

The latest HMRC data (2017/18) shows women held 55 percent (3.59 million) of the total 6.47 million cahs ISAs in existence in the UK. For the last five years, women have always represented more than half of all cash ISA holders.
