Women's share of wealth 'stalled' since turn of the century

Women hold just over 40 percent of total global household wealth, with no clear indication that much progress towards equality has been made this century, according to the 2018 Global Wealth Report by Credit Suisse.

According to the report, women’s share of global wealth rose rapidly during the 1900s, but has been stuck around the 40 percent threshold since the turn of the century.
