Sharing of beneficial ownership information "extremely useful", review finds

The sharing of company beneficial ownership information by the Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories and the UK has been “extremely useful”, UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid has said.

These so-called ‘Exchange of Notes’ (EoN) came into force in July 2017. They allow law enforcement authorities (LEAs) for each participant to submit a request for information to another participating dependency or territory, who can also do the same with the UK.
