Active managers redeemed themselves last year, analysis shows

Analysis by Bowmore Wealth Group shows active equity funds made a comeback in the second half of 2020, following several years of underperformance.

The analysis showed UK large-cap equity funds returned an average of 8.3 percent over the last six months of 2020, compared with an average of 5.1 percent for UK large-cap passive equity funds. Both figures are net of fees.
